MOONBots - Affiliate Program Terms

These Affiliate Program Terms ("Affiliate Terms") govern your participation in the MoonBots Affiliate Program. By participating in the program, you agree to these Affiliate Terms in addition to the MoonBots Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.


1. Program Overview

The MoonBots Affiliate Program allows registered users to earn commission credits by referring new customers to MoonBots services. Affiliates receive a unique referral code that provides referred customers with a discount, while earning a commission on qualifying transactions.


2. Commission Structure

  1. Referral Discount : Customers using your affiliate code receive a discount on their purchase
  2. Affiliate Commission : You earn commission on qualifying bot renewals made by referred customers
  3. Terminal Sales Commission : Earn additional commission on payments processed through a MoonBots Payment Terminal rezzed at your location

Current commission rates are displayed in your affiliate dashboard. Commission rates and structure are subject to change at Element Style Co.'s sole discretion at any time (see Section 8).

Important : Affiliate commissions are only earned on payments made with Linden Dollars (L$) within Second Life. Payments made via PayPal do not generate affiliate commission.


3. Earning and Tracking Credits

Affiliate credits are earned when:

  1. A customer uses your unique affiliate code during registration or renewal
  2. A referred customer completes a qualifying payment transaction
  3. A customer makes a payment through a MoonBots Payment Terminal rezzed at your location

Credits are tracked and displayed in your MoonBots account dashboard. Commission history includes transaction type, date/time, and amount earned.

Custom Referral Codes

Users may create custom affiliate referral codes; however, all codes are subject to approval and the following restrictions:

Prohibited referral codes include, but are not limited to:

  1. Deceptive or misleading codes (e.g., "OFFICIAL", "STAFF", "ADMIN")
  2. Codes suggesting false promotions or deals (e.g., "BUY1GET1", "FREE", "50PERCENTOFF")
  3. Offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate language
  4. Codes that impersonate MoonBots, Element Style Co., or other brands
  5. Codes that violate trademark or intellectual property rights
  6. Codes containing personal information or contact details
  7. Any code deemed inappropriate at Element Style Co.'s sole discretion

Element Style Co. reserves the right to reject, disable, or revoke any custom referral code without notice or explanation. Users found repeatedly attempting to create prohibited codes may be removed from the affiliate program.


4. Credit Restrictions and Non-Transferability

Affiliate credits are non-transferable. Credits earned through the affiliate program:

  1. Cannot be transferred to other MoonBots accounts
  2. Cannot be sold, traded, or exchanged with other users
  3. Cannot be converted to cash value outside of the withdrawal methods provided
  4. May only be used by the account holder who earned them


5. Withdrawal Methods and Processing

Affiliate credits may be withdrawn using the following methods:

A. Instant Wallet Credit

  1. Credits are immediately applied to your MoonBots wallet
  2. Can be used for bot hosting services and renewals
  3. Processed instantly upon request

B. Second Life Linden Dollar (L$) Withdrawal

  1. Credits are converted and paid to your Second Life avatar
  2. Processing time: Up to 8 hours
  3. Delayed processing allows for fraud detection and verification
  4. Withdrawals may be held for additional review if suspicious activity is detected

Element Style Co. reserves the right to require additional verification before processing any withdrawal request.


6. Right to Deny or Revoke Credits

Element Style Co. reserves the right to deny, withhold, reduce, or revoke affiliate credits for any reason, including but not limited to:

  1. Suspected fraudulent activity or abuse of the affiliate program
  2. Self-referrals or referrals of accounts under the affiliate's control
  3. Use of misleading, deceptive, or spam marketing practices
  4. Violations of the MoonBots Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
  5. Violations of Second Life Terms of Service or Community Standards
  6. Chargebacks or payment disputes on referred transactions
  7. Referred accounts found to violate any applicable rules or policies
  8. Technical errors or miscalculated commissions
  9. Any other reason determined at Element Style Co.'s sole discretion

Denied or revoked credits are not eligible for appeal or reimbursement.


7. Prohibited Affiliate Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination from the affiliate program and forfeiture of all credits:

  1. Self-referral : Creating multiple accounts to refer yourself
  2. Fraudulent referrals : Referring fake or non-genuine customers
  3. Misleading promotion : Making false claims about MoonBots services
  4. Spam : Unsolicited mass messaging or advertising via Second Life IM, group chat, or email
  5. Trademark misuse : Unauthorized use of MoonBots or Element Style Co. trademarks
  6. Cookie stuffing : Artificially placing affiliate codes on users' browsers
  7. Incentivized clicks : Paying users to click affiliate links without genuine interest
  8. Brand bidding : Purchasing ads using "MoonBots" or related trademarked terms
  9. Violation of platform rules : Promoting MoonBots in a manner that violates Second Life or other platform policies


8. Program Modifications

Element Style Co. reserves the right to modify the affiliate program at any time, including:

  1. Commission rates and percentages may be changed with or without notice
  2. Program structure may be altered, suspended, or terminated entirely
  3. Eligibility requirements may be added or modified
  4. Withdrawal methods and limits may be adjusted
  5. Terms and conditions may be updated periodically

Material changes to commission rates will be announced via the MoonBots platform or email when practicable. Continued participation after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.


9. Fraud Prevention and Account Security

All withdrawal requests are subject to fraud detection and verification procedures. Element Style Co. may:

  1. Delay withdrawals for up to 8 hours (or longer if necessary) for fraud review
  2. Request additional verification or documentation
  3. Temporarily or permanently freeze accounts suspected of fraudulent activity
  4. Report suspected fraud to the appropriate authorities or Second Life/Linden Lab

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your affiliate code and account credentials. Unauthorized use of your affiliate code does not entitle you to credits if fraud is suspected.


10. Tax Obligations

Affiliates are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on affiliate earnings. Element Style Co. does not provide tax advice and is not responsible for any tax implications of your affiliate participation.


11. Termination

Element Style Co. may terminate your participation in the affiliate program at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination:

  1. You forfeit any pending or unprocessed affiliate credits
  2. You must immediately cease using your affiliate code and any MoonBots promotional materials
  3. You remain bound by confidentiality and non-disparagement obligations

You may voluntarily terminate your participation by discontinuing use of your affiliate code; however, forfeited credits are non-refundable.


12. No Guarantee of Earnings

Element Style Co. makes no guarantee regarding potential affiliate earnings. Success in the affiliate program depends on your own marketing efforts, audience, and factors beyond our control.


13. Relationship

Participation in the affiliate program does not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and Element Style Co. You are an independent contractor solely responsible for your promotional activities.


14. Compliance with Laws and Platform Rules

You agree to comply with:

  1. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  2. FTC guidelines regarding endorsements and disclosures
  3. Second Life Terms of Service and Community Standards
  4. Any other platform rules where you promote MoonBots

You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship when promoting MoonBots.


15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Element Style Co. harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your participation in the affiliate program, including your promotional activities and any violations of these Affiliate Terms.


16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Element Style Co. shall not be liable for any loss of affiliate credits, earnings, or opportunities arising from program modifications, termination, technical issues, or any other cause.


17. Governing Law

The laws of the United States govern these Affiliate Terms and are subject to the same governing law provisions as the MoonBots Terms of Service.


18. Integration with Terms of Service

These Affiliate Terms are supplemental to and incorporated into the MoonBots Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict, these Affiliate Terms shall govern with respect to affiliate program matters.
